Malik’s was established in 1987 with a small branch on Bliss Street employing just one person. Since then, we have grown to become a major bookshop in Lebanon, with 19 current branches, 2 huge warehouses and a centralized management office. We currently employ 250 people and have 13 departments: A Books Department, a Services Department, a Stationery Department, a Sales Department, a Purchasing Department, a Marketing Department, a Merchandizing Department, a Personnel Department, an Accounting Department, an Operations Department, a Control Department, a Technical Department, and a Collection Department.
Malik’s has three sales divisions:
- Book Section:
We are the number one Academic and General bookshop in Lebanon, stocking over 50,000 titles, all available on the e-commerce website www.maliks.com, which is updated on a weekly basis.
- Business and Copy Center:
We are the largest copy center chain in Lebanon. We offer a complete line of copy and computer services from a simple photocopy to huge poster plotting. We also make available other services such as international courier, classified advertising, phone and internet recharge cards, sworn translation and many others.
- Stationery and Office Supplies Section:
There are 2 stationery sections, a retail section and a wholesale one. Our stationery Department currently employs 8 salespeople. We have dedicated 2 fully-priced catalogs for each section.
Currently, Malik’s is the agent of more than 22 international brands among which are: Folex (France), Forerever (Germany), Mondi (Austria), Edding (Germany), Snopake (UK), Gabol (Spain), GBC (USA), Elsoon (Singapore), Kobra (Italy), KW (Taiwan), Data Zone (Taiwan), Bindermax (Taiwan), Pigna (Italy), Verbatim (EU), Farassoo (Taiwan), Legamaster (Germany), Sprint Jet (Spain), etc…
